Built in 1910, Cashel Schoolhouse has been lovingly converted to provide modern self catering accommodation, while retaining the original features of this unique and spacious building
Cashel Schoolhouse is located in a rural area 2km off the N5 and 3km from Swinford town. Set in its own grounds with lawn, paved patio area and barbeque it is an ideal base for touring Mayo, Galway and Sligo. Over the years it has played host to visitors from Europe, Middle East, USA , Canada, Australia and New Zealand who have enjoyed fishing the world famous river Moy, golfing on the many golf courses in the area and just generally relaxing in a stress free zone.
In Aug 2010 Cashel Schoolhouse played host to a centenary celebration for past pupils and their families, who had gathered from all over the world. Several of these visitors had previously rented Cashel Schoolhouse for a vacation.
Cashel Schoolhouse is personally managed by the owners, Sean & Imelda O'Hara, who will meet you on arrival and guide you in the right direction to ensure your holiday is as enjoyable as possible.
